Why would I need to amend my founding statement?
The most common reason is tender eligibility: government and corporate tenders require your CC's registered business activities to match the work being tendered. If your founding statement says "catering" and the tender is for cleaning services, your bid can be disqualified, even if you are fully capable of the work. Other reasons include changing your registered address, financial year end, or member details.

Will amending my founding statement affect my good standing or tax status?
No. An amendment changes what is recorded on your founding statement, it does not affect your BIPA good standing, NamRA tax registration, or SSC status. Your CC registration number stays the same. If your annual duties are in arrears, however, BIPA may require these to be settled before processing the amendment, we check this for you first.
